Contact Us

If you’ve landed here, you’re probably someone who builds things, breaks things, and spends more time than you’d like admit reading error logs. So am I. That means I try to keep this page straightforward.

There is one person behind this site โ€” me, Arlo Wilder. I write every article, test every workflow, and manage everything you see here. I don’t have a support team or a ticket system. What I do have is a working inbox and a genuine interest in hearing from readers.

When You Should Email Me

If you found a factual error in one of my articles, please tell me. Configuration guides go stale. A Docker image gets a breaking update, a Home Assistant integration changes its syntax, or Intel pushes a driver revision that changes QuickSync behavior. I would rather fix an outdated article than leave bad information up. If something I wrote sent you down the wrong path, I want to know.

What I Can’t Help With

I’m not a remote support service. If your server is down and you need someone to walk you through it in real time, I’m not the right resource for that. I also can’t troubleshoot setups I haven’t tested โ€” if your question depends heavily on hardware or a software version I don’t have access to, I’ll tell you honestly rather than guess.

Response Time

I check email regularly, but I run this site alongside a full-time job in IT. I aim to respond within 48 to 72 hours on weekdays. If your question is straightforward, it’s usually faster than that. If it requires me to actually go test something before I can give you an honest answer, it might take longer.

That’s the only contact method I use. There’s no contact form, no chatbot, and no social media account attached to this site. Just a real email address that I actually read.
